Description
The bench mounted apparatus consists of a thick-walled aluminum pressure vessel, and enables the radial and hoop stress distribution to be determined by experiment. Pressure is supplied from a hand operated hydraulic pump. A valve enables the system pressure to be finely controlled. Built-in strain bridge, USB & software and an instruction manual (requires a PC).
