Description
Self-contained. Storage water tank with heater, pump and flow meter. Various packed columns are available. Makeup water is admitted to the storage tank through a float valve. A fan is connected to the bottom tank, and air is driven upward through the column and exhausted at the top. Ports at fan inlet measure air velocity. Pressure drop in cooling tower is measured by inclined manometer. Air and water temperatures indicated on digital indicators.
